The CAS Dome is the middle one in the line of 3 not far from the Visitor’s Centre. The CAS 14-inch SCT has been relocated here.
On the night there will be an email indicating a no-go, if the weather is unsuitable.
Normally, the boom gate at Mt Stromlo is closed and it is opened 5 minutes before the start time. If the gates are open, members are welcome to drive up to the Visitors’ Centre and continue on to the CAS Observatory.
